Juan Castro made his first start for the Minnesota Twins since hurting his right wrist while playing for Mexico in the World Baseball Classic. Castro went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Monday in a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. "I wouldn't even call it an injury," Castro said of the bruised hamate bone, which has healed.

Blue Jays 9, Pirates 8 (AP)

Left-hander Zach Duke couldn't have made it look much easier during an outstanding rookie season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. This spring has taught him there may be some tough times, too. Duke had another rough outing by giving up eight runs, seven earned, and 11 hits over four-plus innings and the Toronto Blue Jays overcame six homers by the Pirates for a 9-8 victory Sunday.
